Two Native American tribes who once cultivated our land, the Yuchis (also spelled Ugee, Uchee, or Euchee) and the Kiokees were later assimilated into larger Native American Nations. Both tribes resided in what would later be named Columbia County, lending their names to two of the creeks that wind through the county and join into the Savannah River – the Euchee Creek and the Kiokee Creek.   Art | Music | Dance | Heritage Located in Evans, GA, (two hours east of Atlanta, GA) the two-day festival celebrates Columbia County’s art, music, dance, and heritage!
